Sequel Mental Health helps those suffering from trauma.
PTSD and C-PTSD are mental health disorders that people develop upon experiencing or witnessing life-threatening or traumatic events. The symptoms can last for months or persist significantly longer.
All of us live in a complex world; at any given notice we encounter isolated, one-time traumatic events. Some examples include physical or sexual assault, car accidents, natural disasters, etc. Any of these unfortunate events can induce symptoms of PTSD. And, when chronic trauma or severe psychological harm in childhood and/or adulthood occurs and is repeated for months or even years, symptoms can become more complex (C-PTSD).The GOOD NEWS is there are very effective treatments available.
Jenny has received her Master Level Certificate in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). ART is an evidenced based therapy that facilitates one's own natural healing. This therapy helps the brain to integrate and reconsolidate the traumatic memory in such a way that the knowledge and learning is maintained, while distressing images and hyper-vigilance is diffused. As the founder of ART - Laney Rosenzweig, MS, LMFT says "you will keep the knowledge but lose the pain." LEARN MORE AT ACCELERATED RESOLUTION THERAPY
